Life

What if life really is quite simple.
So simple that even a child gets it.
But as we grow, we overthink
and in our overthinking,
we create complication.

What if we were to once again
wander in wonderment.

Choosing peace over fear.
Choosing love over hate.
Choosing joy over despair.

Reminding us we are all the same,
each journeying toward Home.
Some aware, some not, but grace pulls us
toward wholeness in God’s fullness.

To be at peace;
to act in love;
to live with joy.

What if it really is this simple?
