Be kind

Be kind to one another.

Everyone has pain and hurt
as part of their story, even if
they haven’t shared it, even if
they look strong, even if
their life looks perfect.

Pain and hurts impact us all.
It’s something we have in common.

It may take different forms, but
we’re all broken, and maybe, just maybe, if we could
wrap our heads around our commonalities
we would have a little more compassion;
we would have a little more grace;
we would be a little more kind;
we would be a little more forgiving.
