Be gentle

Be gentle to those around you
for we do not know what’s going on inside.

Hurts are often masked with a smile
to make it through the day.

But tears may break the dam and cause a flood
once safely back at home.

So…

be gentle to those around you
for we never really know what’s going on inside.
